About Tangier

           Tangier is located at the north end of Morocco, the city is separated from Europe by 14 km of the Strait of Gibraltar. This mythical city has attracted generations of writers and travelers, conquered by its climate, scenery and picturesque, it is full of historical treasures. The medina and Kasbah offer the traveler a change of scenery. The Dar-el-Makhzen, the sultan’s palace, is a very interesting visit. Discover near Tangiers Cape Spartel and the Caves of Hercules with sunrises and sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean and Cape Malabata when the sun goes down and rises over the Mediterranean.
             Tangier is disserved by direct flights from Europan capitals. The International airport of Tangier is close to Tangier Down Town (10 minutes). There are also a lot of daily direct flights to Mohamed V International Airport in Casablanca from North America (Montreal, New York) and Asia. Casablanca is about 20 minutes flight to Tangier. A connection pool is already available between the Moroccan company Royal Air Maroc and many others companies.

Cape Spartel

           12 km from Tangier is the perfect place to watch the sunset over the ocean Atlantic. The waters of the Mediterranean and those from the Atlantic to mix up of the cliff. All along the road of course, the scenery is superb. Along the way you can stop the caves of Hercules. According to legend, this would be that half god of Greek mythology would have rested after digging the Gibraltar Strait.
These caves are flooded by water at high tide. Their openness is like a map Africa reversed. 500 m of the caves, a Roman site was also restored. It This is the ancient city of Cotta, which remain including the ruins of a temple and those baths. Cape Spartel is covered with beautiful vegetation of cork oaks, the broom and eucalyptus. The lighthouse dates from 1865. Off Cape Spartel is Spartel the bench, a submerged shoal, some wanted to make the legendary island of Atlantis.

Cape Malabata

           10 km from Tangier is the perfect place to watch the sunrise over the sea Mediterranean. The road to the lighthouse of Cape Malabata, lined creeks and deserted sandy beaches, offers enchanting views of the Strait of Gibraltar and the Spanish coast. Arriving at the lighthouse, you will enjoy a panorama splendid city and bay of Tangier. Further down the same road, you stop at Ksar-Saghir, a small fishing port which is held on Saturday and a lively souk colorful. Nearby, a sandy beach awaits you

Useful information
Visa Requirements

           Most of the European, North American and Arabian nationalities do not need a visa to travel to Morocco. Other nationalities have to arrange for their visas through the Moroccan Embassy in their country.
